"Believe, that's how you stay..."

Impulse evening on fears for the future with Communio-Spiritual Rudolf Ammann on Thursday, 14 July, from 7 p.m. in the House Chapel, Bruchgasse 14

Mechernich – For some years now, the Ordo Communionis in Christo has been regularly giving spiritual impulses to all those interested in the house chapel, Bruchgasse, and uses spiritual speakers from its own ranks and from outside.

Among others, the Salesians of Don Bosco from Jünkerath, Salvatorian Prior Paul Cyrys from Steinfeld and the writer, journalist and publisher Christoph Kloft have been guests on several occasions. The last impulse evenings so far were given by Communio Sister Lidwina and theology professor Dr Manuel Schlögl from Cologne.

Next Thursday, 14 July, it will again be the turn of Schoenstatt Father Rudolf Ammann ISch, the spiritual director of Communio in Christo. He will speak on the topic of "The Church in Transition" at 7 pm in the house chapel of the Communio, entrance Bruchgasse 14. Beforehand, from 6.30 p.m., there will be an opportunity to pray the rosary and vespers. After the talk, at around 8.15 p.m., the Eucharist will be celebrated.

Against the background of the current world political situation, Ammann will deal with the general uncertainty and multi-layered fear of the future in society and the Church. For the speaker, Christianity's answer to all uncertainty and fear is faith and firm trust in God's faithfulness and love. Ammann: "One could say with the prophet Isaiah "If you do not believe, you will not remain" or vice versa: "If you believe, you will remain!""

Pre-registration for the impulse evening is not necessary. Please take precautions and be considerate of each other because of the risk of a pandemic.
