Merry Christmas!

Christmas 2022

"This child is the love of God, the Savior we remember. He knocks at our door in the thousandfold form of human beings.

His request is personal, so that we may recognize him in those who are like us, in those who are our brothers and sisters, and in those who are redeemed like us."

Mother Marie Therese

Dear friends and members,

An eventful year lies behind us. Also, at to the Communio in Christo a lot happened. First of all, I want to say thank you for your friendship and solidarity and prayers. It is only together that we can give the people what they really need: God who is love.

In a few days we will once again celebrate Christmas as the feast of love. For us as faithful Christians it is after all the feast of God’s love for us human beings that had become tangible in the coming of his son as a child in Bethlehem. And then it is the feast of love between us humans in echoing the divine love.

At the same time, we are witnessing again in these days the destructive tragedy of war and crime. When we implore and plead for peace, we turn to the child of Bethlehem at whose birth the angles sang: “Peace on earth to those on whom his favour rests” (Lk 2,14).

On behalf of the Communio in Christo I wish you, your families, and communities grace-filled Christmas. May you experience both divine and human love and have a blessed New Year 2023! Let us stay united in prayer and love!
